Kathleen Murray Bio

I have always been a communicator.  Born a twin, I was most likely communicating well before birth. As a member of a large family, I grew up around a cast of characters and became intrigued with learning about what makes us all do the wacky things we do. A career in business and marketing taught me the power of prose in allowing me to focus in on a singular product and marketing definition or in the development of a complex promotional concept. I grew up in Chicago's North Shore and currently call Arizona home. Today I continue as an avid pupil of people, their stories, and the various ways they express themselves.

Maureen Smithfield’s Meatloaf

2 lbs ground round

1 16 oz can stewed tomatoes

2 Tablespoons minced onion

½ Cup rolled oats

½ Cup sour cream

1 Tablespoon Worchester sauce

1 Tablespoon prepared mustard

2 Teaspoons salt

Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ingredients and place meat mixture in a loaf pan. Bake for 70 to 80 minutes. Drain grease if desired prior to serving.
